MRS. HENRY FIENE
The death of Mrs. Henry Fiene occurred Saturday, August 23, 1919, at 8:15 p.m., at the Chicago Heights Hospital, following a surgical operation, aged 52 years, 8 months and 11 days.
The remains were brought to her home, south of Beecher, and the funeral was held at the Evangelical St. Lucas (Luke’s) Church, Tuesday afternoon, Rev. G. Horst officiating. Interment was in the Beecher Mausoleum.
Emma Maria Ristenpart was born Dec. 12, 1866, near Beecher, Ill. She was confirmed March 21, 1880, at St. John’s Evangelical Church, Washington Township, by Rev. E. Keuchen. On April 14, 1895, she was married to Henry Fiene in the same church by Rev. Gustav Koch. Three children were born to this union – Malinda, Reinhard and Rose – who, besides the grief stricken husband, mother, Mrs. Louise Ristenpart, one sister and two brothers, are left to mourn the untimely demise.
The Beecher Herald joins the many friends in extending condolences to the sorrowing relatives.
