Lillian Wegert obitFuneral services were held Thursday at the Hack Chapel, Beecher, for Mrs. Lillian Wegert of 3145 Belden, Chicago.

The Rev. John Wyngarden, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Chicago Heights, officiated at the services.

Mrs. Wegert is survived by her husband, Dr. H.H. Wegert; two sisters, Mrs. Lora Hinze and Mrs. Ferne Hildeman, both of Chicago Heights; and two brothers, Dr. H.W. Bahlman of Chicago Heights and Don W. Bahlman of Virginia Beach, VA.

Below are a few of the notes Carrie’s friends wrote in her autograph school books:

Caroline Struve - Miami Daily NewsMrs. Caroline L. Struve, 76, of 8119 Harding Ave., Miami Beach, died Tuesday. Mrs. Struve had been here two months and is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Rosamond Orr, Miami Beach. The body will be sent to Chicago Heights, Ill., by Lithgow 54th St., center.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Arthur Struve Tomorrow

Caroline Struve obit - The StarFuneral services for Mrs. Arthur Struve will be held at two p.m. tomorrow at the chapel at 1340 Otto Boulevard. The widow of Arthur Struve, well known Chicago Heights real estate man, Mrs. Struve died Tuesday night at Miami Beach, Fla., after an illness of ten days. She was 76 years old.

The Rev. John R. Wyngarden, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, will officiate at the rites, and entombment will be at the Beecher Mausoleum.

Mrs. Struve had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. William J. Orr, 223 Country Club Road, since the death of Mr. Struve on July 27, 1932.

She was born January 1, 1874, in Beecher and was married to Mr. Struve in the village on May 10, 1895. She was a member of the Chicago Heights Woman’s Club and of organizations affiliated with the First Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her daughter, Mrs. Struve is survived by one granddaughter, Miss Margaret Orr.

Caroline Struve obit - Beecher HeraldFuneral services were held for Mrs. Arthur Struve of Chicago Heights at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, at the chapel at 1340 Otto Blvd, Chicago Heights. Entombment was made at the local Mausoleum. Rev. John R. Wyngarden, pastor of the Chicago Heights First Presbyterian Church officiated.

The widow of Arthur Struve, former Beecher banker and Chicago Heights real estate man, died, last Tuesday night, at Miami Beach, Florida after an illness of ten days. She attained the age of 76 years.

Mrs. Struve was born January 1, 1874 in Beecher. She was united in marriage with Arthur Struve, May 10, 1895. She was active in social affairs for many years while residing in Beecher and after moving to Chicago Heights, she became a member of the Chicago Heights Woman’s Club and organizations of the First Presbyterian Church there. She had resided, since the death of her husband, July 27, 1932, in the household of her daughter, Mrs. William J. Orr, at Chicago Heights.

Besides her daughter, she is survived by one granddaughter, Margaret Orr.
